“Fantastic city break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We stayed here for 5 nights in October half term. It's location is fabulous, we were able to catch the train from the airport to Passieg de Gracia station which bought us 500 yards from hotel doors right opposite the Casa Batlo. We walked everywhere. 20 minutes to the Sagrada Familia, 45 minutes to top of Parc Guell, 15/ 20 minutes to Gothic quarter. If you don't want to walk the jump on jump off buses pass by or the Metro stops are handy. Taxi rank right outside door. Lots of good restaurants near by. Local supermarket - turn left outside hotel, left at corner and then directly across the street - really cheap, good quality everything- even sell cork screws!!!! Breakfast at the hotel is very good - spanish omelette delicious, good selection of meats, cheeses, fruit and pastries. "Happy 30 minutes" at 6pm provides a free glass of cava and nibbles - very pleasant. Room very clean and comfortable, very mod con - the gadgets and lighting system took a few minutes to master!! We had a room on the second floor at the front which suffered from noise from street - to be expected but I would recommend a higher floor or a room at the back. The staff in this hotel are FABULOUS!!!! Couldn't do enough for us - even walked us to our taxi to the airport on the last morning to make sure the taxi driver understood us and fixed a price for us. Sorry for delay in writing this review - was so chilled when we got back!!!

I stayed one night at this hotel with a friend and we were really impressed with the modern upgrades. I will admit it took us a few moments to figure out all the bells and whistles, but we really enjoyed our night in this clean and chic hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed on the top floor which was quiet and had a view of the balcony below.

Green Features: Sixtytwo was definitely environmentally-friendly with their lighting options and custom settings.

We (party of five, three of which teenagers) stayed for two nights, 28th and 29th December 2014. The hotel was excellent....lovely rooms, with free safe, and a fantastic bathroom. Very good breakfast, both buffet and freshly cooked breakfast of your choice. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We cannot fault the hotel at all.....and the location was ideal for exploring all of Barcelona. Our trip was made even more lovely due to the fact that all the Christmas lights and decorations were still up everywhere!

Room Tip: We were 307 and 308, at the back of the hotel, so very quiet.

I picked this hotel to be in the center and to stay somewhere a little nicer. The location could not be better. It is right in the middle of the busiest street(passaig de gracia) and there are taxis everywhere, metro stops and even the hop on hop off stop is very close. I first arrived to fhe hotel by taking RENFE train from the airport - that stops less than a block away from the hotel. The jotel is small but pretty and cenvenient and the staff was really nice and helpful. My check in took less then a minute and i got a package of maps and flyers with discounts. I loved the design of the hotel (tall wooden doors and room number is highlighted on the floor) room and bathroom was very modern although a bit on the smaller side but i didnt mind. The sink was hidden behind the wall in the bedroom, which i didnt mind but it was a little weird. There is an ipod stand and nespresso machine which was a nice touch. My only complaint was about the shower which was modern and spacious but when i finished my shower there was water everywhere outsode of it despite the closed door. I did the hotel brekafast, which was expensive but very good and convenient. The launge on the first floor also has free water and coffee at all times and computers with wifi. I needed something printed and they were able to do that for me at the front desk. All in all i really loved staying here and the biggest thing was the location and cute design.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a street view

what a wonderful hotel! Fantastic location right by the shops and tour buses, but amazingly peaceful and quiet. A lovely touch was the free cava every evening and the information pack upon arrival. The modern boutique ambiance did not prevent the hotel from being comfortable and welcoming and we will definitely return when we come back to discover the rest of Barcelona

My sister and I stayed here for a weekend, friendly staff. Lovely decor and clean and very comfortable. They have free tea and coffee for residents between 11-11 and you get cava between 6-6.30 never had this much comps before and the bar was lovely to relax in. The hotel is situated amongst the designer area and only a 15 min walk to gothic quarter. We will be back next year.

A nice small hotel in the middle of centre barcelona.
Nearby the metro and railway station wich leads to the airport.
The hotel serves a good breakfast in a nice environment but is a little bit expensive(the bf).
Very good hotel for shopping adventures and gourmet outings.
