Got to admit Sant Jordi have set the bar for hostels... First time ever staying in a hostel and it was the best...my kind of scenery but also friendly staff and nice people in the accommodation. I found it easy to make friends and there's always activities on every night to make new friends. The common room was top notch and to top it off there's a small skate ramp if your a skater.
The rooms itself is difficult to sleep in as people come in at different times but you got to expect that. There are lockers to keep your things safe and the beds aren't too bad.
Staff are so nice, had an amazing time.

The hostel itself is quite cool. The common area, skate ramp and activities are what you look for in a place like this BUT, this was one of the worst nights accommodation of all time. I was woken 4 times throughout the night (once by staff chatting outside my room at 2am) and 3 more times by different people banging on the door looking for the bathroom at 3, 4 and 5 am.

The private room was very small and uncomfortably hot with a loud fan. When I was told at 6am there was no alternative rooms available I booked a hotel alternative. I had thought the staff would be willing to do something in terms of a credit or refund given the shocking experience but all they could offer was a potential shuffling of rooms.

Location is good for sagrada familiar but that's it.

Room Tip: Try somewhere else first.

Sand Jordi is perfect for travellers. Everyone staying there is so friendly, and it's so easy to meet and get along because of the nightly club/pub nights mixed with the other Sant Jordi hostels!

Staff are so friendly and helpful and recommend all the good places to visit in Barcelona.

First and best hostel experience, definitely going back!!!

very very friendly, nice, helpful staff, good vibes. activities going on everynight. supermarket and grocery store are just around the corner, metro's few mins away by foot, alil bit away from city centre, but it can be a good thing, no?
4 bed dorm/apt. is really worth to stay in, got it's own kitchen and chillout space and everything, computers in lobby are all in spainish
and there were many many americans and canadians, would be even more awesome if there were ppl from everywhere.

We were 4 friends and booked a 8 people room, but they upgrade us to a 6 people room for free, they where super nice from the very first second we stepped in, all the staff is super nice, there is a lot of activities for a reasonable price, it doesnt matter what you ask them they will find a way to answer it. A very good kitchen and common areas, very close to La Sagrada Familia, if you want to walk is 10 minutes away. Very very safe, since all the rooms have electronic lockers and all the people who enter at night has to confirm with the staff at reception.

No better place to stay, i wish they could open trough all europe

Stayed here just one night last week, and have to say the experience couldn't have been better. Initially arriving to another branch which was full (my friend and I had not booked previously) however the lovely guy on the desk from Argentina rang the other branches and sorted us out promptly with the hostel at SF. And yeah really super experience, clean and comfortable with a lot of space - the accommodation is basically shared apartments within the greater hostel so lots of room for private cooking, fridges etc. Whilst I was travelling with a friend it also would be a great place to come as a solo traveller as it's a very social atmosphere with a lot of events planned regularly. Was also really cheap - €13 per night! Also as previously mentioned the staff are all excellent, really helpful and friendly and still completely efficient and professional. Plus Christian is a total sweetheart (and muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuy guapo ;) helping with my ropey Spanish. Definitely hope to stay again sometime!

Stayed here for the first night in Barcelona. Didn't regret at all, it's very well-maintained building, with 2 supermarkets nearby.

It's quite a big of walk uphill & downhill, so be prepared if you are bringing luggage.
The nearest metro - Hospital de Sant Pau which is just one stop away from the famous Sagrada Familia. The hostel is roughly 10 mins walk from metro.

It offers free WiFi, computer at the ground floor, skateboard (there is a specific skateboarding room in the ground floor area), huge common area with some sofa with big TV screen.
Kitchen and fridge available to use for all, no breakfast provided.

We stayed in 4 bed dorm, it has individual locker and some privacy as the bed are back-to-back with dividers in the middle.

The staff speaks very good English. Cleaner clean the hostel daily (from rooms -> floor -> kitchen area). Very professionally managed hostel. Would recommend this to everyone especially those with tight budget, this is the hostel for you!
