One or two reviewers of this place have not quite got the point about La Vinoteca Torres, although others have. First, the meal times are Spanish meal times. Turn up at 7.30 p.m. and, no, the kitchen won't be going full blast, in fact it probably won't be open. Arrive at 10 p.m. and it might be crowded. Second, this is not about a three-course sit down meal with waiter service. It's about trying the Torres wines on offer and selecting - ideally sharing - some tapas-style dishes to go with them. We ate inside one evening (cooler with air con, no fumes from the street outside) and enjoyed the experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. We cooled down with a beer first then enjoyed a bottle of Torres rosé ('rosado' - good compromise between red and white for the Spanish summer). Definitely recommend it - for what it is.
