We had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant approximately 7 times during our stay at Confortel Barcelona hotel. It looks small from the front but opens up at the back, it was packed with locals (which is always a great sign of good food and good value in my books). Had several Menu of the Days at 9.95 Euros, exceptional value and really great authentic Spanish cuisine. Had tapas and drinks in the evenings which again were very good. They had one lady chef who was working the kitchen single-handedly in the most incredibly efficient manner. It helps to speak a touch of pigeon-Spanish but they will endeavour to speak pigeon-English if you can't. Can't fault this place - it made the other local restaurants look rubbish. It wasn't open on Tuesdays when we were there.
