We have eaten a lot of octopus whilst sailing in Galicia but this was the first time we had tried carpaccio of octopus. It was delicious - a generous portion, ultra thinly sliced and marinaded to be very tender.
For starters In addition to the carpaccio we had a salad which was decent enough but nothing memorable. For the main course we had confit of duck - again a generous portion and delicious.
Petra is a popular restaurant - we managed to get a table on a Saturday evening without booking a t 2045, but it would have been impossible any later. Service is attentive, the menu is stuck onto wine bottles - a fun touch - but the prices exclude 10% IVA. The wine list is not excessively long and good value.
Overall we paid €54 for two and felt that this was very good value.
