A friend recommended this restaurant and we went last night. Well worth a visit although the cost per head was 30 euros (without wine). You can't make reservations unless you're a group of 6 or more, and at the weekends not even then (although I get the impression that once you've been there a few times and the staff know you, you can probably ensure your favourite table). We were 3 and were placed at a general table with 2 other diners, although with plenty of elbow room. Obviously best to arrive early (they open at 20.30) and be 2, 4, 5 or more if you want to sit on your own. Orys have described the place as trendy... it's certainly modern, the tables are steel, but the chairs are comfortable and the lighting agreeable. Once full the place is noisy, but what restaurant isn't (outside England of course). A small niggle that the manegement may wish to rectify is the fact that the menu is presented in English and Castillian only, no Catalan, although most of the waiters spoke the language. The manner of choosing the dishes is curious, placing magnets on a numbered board inside a metal box, but we received what we ordered so the system is no worse than any other. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and they were all excellent quality, taste and presentation. The sushi, eaten after the various dishes, was also well presented and has variety, although the taste diferential was not so obvious The desserts are varied and very good, try the green tea tiramisu. Not somewhere to go on a regular basis, too expensive for that, but a welcome addition to the eating out circuit.
