We parked the car outside in the street - no problem and no charge. There were plaques by the entrance door showing that the hotel had been in the Michelin guide until 2011 - it would have been a good idea to remove them and they posed the question 'Why is this hotel no longer in the Guide Michelin?' The staff on the front desk were pleasant and welcoming - not much English but we are in Spain. The first room was comfortable but there was a terrible smell of drains which started in the bathroom and then permeated the whole room. The woman on the front desk suggested a different room immediately but the second room was much smaller and would have been rather cramped had we spent much time there. The room itself was clean but the bathroom was a bit worn looking : dirty grouting, mould in the shower, shower doors didn't slide properly. However it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. There was good WiFi coverage - free. Breakfast was poor - plasticated ham and cheese slices, stodgy white bread, overcooked coffee. The hotel is a little out of town but just a 10 minute walk from the centre and good exercise after a day's or night's eating and drinking. With a bit of attention to detail this hotel could be so much better.
