A nice place, well signposted to reach it (not always the case in Spain!) but then one is left to search out the reception and, having checked in, baggage access is deliberately made difficult. We had a party of 8 people. The official baggage route was from the far end of the car park, about 100 yards up the cobbles to the front door and back, a similar distance, down the corridors to the rooms.There was an "emergency" door right next to where our cars were parked and very near our rooms. We declared it an emergency, of course, which did draw the attention of an unsmiling staff member. Ditto for departure. Ciudad Rodrigo is a wonderful town and the Parador is OK, just needs the service to be warmed up a bit.
