This was supposed to be a luxurious getaway, but little things made it less than spectacular:
No rugs in room, like most Spanish hotels, but these feel especially sparse and cold.
Minor repairs not made:
In room - Door that sticks and scratches floor (so you have to push it shut), plaster damage to the ceiling, sharp piece of wood coming off the bathroom door)
In pool area - mold on lounge chairs, tiles coming loose in pool, two majorly cracked shower doors.
Also, if you´re a fan of hot water, it´s all barely warm.
You must wear a bathing cap and they charge you for it.
Not a very large menu, and not much healthy or vegetarian.
Not one English TV channel. CNN is Spanish. I know: this is Spain, but just in case you´re looking to get caught up on news...
Also, the TV is at an odd angle from the bed. Not comfortable.
No clock in room.
No Do Not Disturb tag was there.
Internet is free, but the ¨Y¨ key doesn´t work right.
The biggie: There were ants all over the room in the morning. (not because of spilt food or anything I could see.)
The staff was very nice, and this could possibly be a nice retreat, but it just needs some more attention to detail.
