We have a lovely time at Sercotel Pintor El Greco. The hotel itself had a rustic charm about it and it was within walking distance to all the sights in Toledo (most sights are better seen on foot as the narrow streets make driving more difficult and time-consuming). We needed to park our car in the carpark at the hotel and were giving very thorough instructions by the receptionist, which brings me to the highlight - the service. Although Elena did not speak fluent English, she anticipated our needs and gave us many helpful tips for getting around town, parking the car as accessing the entrance was a bit tricky and food recommendations, etc. The rooms were comfortable and for the price it was good value.

Hotel is perfectly placed for visiting Toledo. In old town, near Cathedral and El Greco museum and Tomo church.Rooms are up to date, clean if a little small, but staff are most helpful.
Only negative ,was trying to make arrangement to book space in their garage, but persistance won out.Garage price well worth the hotels central position.
Restaurant adjacent to hotel,"La Orza" ,absolutely excellent, dont bother searching hilly streets to find another.

Traveling in Spain in November allowed us to be flexible in our itinerary. During the last two days we opted to forgo Madrid for Toledo and made last minute reservations here ( very good decision). The old city of Toledo is small enough that walking to/ from the attractions is easy and "getting lost" in the narrow streets should be viewed as part of your unique experience ( varieties of shops and eateries) as compared to a " problem". The hotel was fine, staff was friendly and helpful. Stay somewhere in the old city if not here. Helpful hint- all the locals know where the El Greco museum is so if lost while walking simply approach a local and ask " Pardon, Donde esta museo El Greco?" Also, if your departure time is before breakfast, ask the day before if the staff can bag a sack breakfast for you.

This hotel is a small but very comfortable hotel right next to the El Greco museum. The location was great and easy to find with underground parking included. The rooms were small but clean and well appointed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

Good location, and parking is conveniently located given car restrictions in Toledo.

There are two wings and rooms are very different depending in which wing your room ends up being. The first room they assigned us, a tiny room below street level, was not what we had reserved, We were eventually given a different room but reluctantly and begrudgingly.

Unfortunately the staff was dour and minimally helpful throughout our stay

Right in the historic district and next to the El Greco house and museum. Parking is across the street in a locked underground garage. You can walk to all the major tourist destinations in Toledo. It is not a large hotel. The desk staff are very conversant in English and make an extra effort to be helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. Clean quiet rooms. Modest but good breakfast. When looking for a restaurant ask the desk staff where they eat dinner. They gave us an excellent recommendation.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the El Greco museum side of the building
