In Mid-August I took my Godson and his friend to El Serbal for dinner. The location is a bit hard to find as it is set back within a large apartment complex. Once we got there, however, we were seated and presented with a complimentary glass of Sumarroca Cava - a nice touch. We chose the chefs tasting menu which consisted of about 7 courses. The milhojas with bonito was the highlight, as well as the anchovies and dessert. The service was impeccable - very attentive without being intrusive. Extensive wine list full of Spanish and international wines. At 56 euros per person, I thought this was also a fairly good value. All in all, I would highly recommend this restaurant, even if you are just passing through Cantabria.
