I visited the New Robin Hood in June 2011,i could'nt have wished for a friendlier welcome from Jimmy and David.I visited a few times in the week i was there, and every sandwich or meal i had was freshly made and tasty.Nothing was too much trouble.I would recommend this pub and restaurant to any one visiting Puerto de la Cruz.

“Best British food ( especially the Sunday Lunch)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2011

If you want the best British food in Puerto , look no further than the , Nuevo Robin Hood .Jimmy and David are the hosts ,and their motto should be " if you want it ,we will try our best to get it "
Jimmy is a first class host and David works in the kitchen to provide first class home cooked food to a professional standard .
I have to agree with a previous poster ,that the Fish & Chips are great . But this is no surprise , as all the food is great .
To show how far they will go to please you, when a cutomer who lives in America remarked that he missed Pork Pies , they contactad someone who was going to the south of the island ,and asked him to bring back the pies with him .(not available in the north )
THE SUNDAY LUNCH , 1 ,2.OR 3 courses , you choose . 3 meats yorkshire puds , mash , roast pots , 3 veg , and the best thing is , after they pile your plate with meat , they tell you to come back for more if you can . Sorry , i forgot a glass of wine or soft drink is included .
Dont forget , under the tallest building in Puerto is where you will find the best British food .

“Good home made food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2011

The Robin Hood is underneath the Bel Air apartments in Puero de La Cruz, Tenerife ( the highest block in town.) Jimmy runs the bar and David does the cooking all freshly done on the premises. It attracts people who are fed up with hotel food. They are famous for their fish & chips with mushy peas and in high season there is a queue for Sunday lunch all at very good value.
Puerto itself is in the north of Tenerife and does not get as much sun as the south but what it lacks in sunshine it makes up for in the setting. A genuine old fishing harbour, a square surrounded by restaurants, tapas bars in all more Canarian than touristy.
