“Good for science lovers of all ages”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

We returned here after missing a few years and were pleasantly surprised to discover many new exhibits in addition to some old favourites (such as lifting a car with a lever).

Our young family members are now in their late teens so we were concerned that they might be bored, but there's enough to do at any level here, and there are some quite serious challenges to try out. We spent 3 hours and still didn't try out everything that was available.

I don't agree that the exhibits aren't English-friendly. Most have some explanation in English, although many of the important display boards are in Spanish only.

This isn't a museum for people who want computerised interactive demonstrations (although there are some of those!). It's a practical, hands-on science museum, with opportunities to learn about space, the environment, and physics.

“Great fun though no english friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

Just three tram stops from the city center is a building with a big satellite dish on top. Inside is a small exploratorium (well, not comparable with the one in let's say San Francisco) where you can have all the scientific fun. The flaw is... if you don't speak spanish, the english explanations are scarce, but it's usually enough. Also the audiovisual show is spanish only. Apart from that, it's a great place to go. On top of that, Sundays are free entry for everybody.

It's a good place to go with children, very interactive, free on Sundays, and it has a planetary.
