“Great place to visit to see the real side of old Lanzarote”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

I actually looked up the attraction before I went to Lanzarote and decided that it would be a place of interest and overlooks some of the most outstanding natural beauty
the place give great insite to how life was once lived on the island.

there are plenty of places that you could sit and have a picnic
probably more for adults as children may get bored after about a hour
animals are well looked after

toilets are some of the cleanest I have ever seen

very cheap attraction as well as the cost was only 5 euro per person that included a wine tasting as well,
can highly recommend the "Tinto"
at 9 Euro was a very good buy and supports the attraction as well

“Well worth 5 euro”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

Decided to visit this museum to try to get an experience of the real Lanzarote. We were not disappointed. It was very well laid out and informative without having to read lots of information boards. The day we visited was very quiet despite it being main holiday season and there was hardly any staff available to claim your free taster of wine. There is definitely room for a small coffee bar and gift shop. Overall charming, quiet and it does give an insight to the Lanzarote before package holidays.

“What a little Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

What a cracking little find - well worth a visit, a surprise round every corner - the only down side, and most unusal for a Lanzarote attraction was the lack of a coffee shop

“Rubbish access”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013 via mobile

Do not try to go here with a wheel chair as the whole area is covered in lava stones making movement impossible. Do not try a day in the week as there is no about or available apart from chickens. Wasted 1/2 hr and petrol to get here along with the 5 euro each fee.

“Well worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

This museum is well worth a visit, it is like stepping back in time as they have all the old farming equipment and cooking utensils on display for you to appreciate how different people's lives were years ago and the hard labour that people endured just as part of their everyday life, this is very unique and the only museum of it's kind as far as i am aware on the island, so i would highly recommend a visit!!
