There are not many restaurants in Santa Cruz de la Palma (as distinct from bars), but this one is well worth seeking out. Although there were tables outside in the sunshine on the Avenida Maritima we ventured into the internal patio, which was a beautiful place to have our lunch. The service was outstanding despite the lack of English, and the food well presented and good. The menu had both local and Spanish dishes and there was a selection of fresh fish on display to be chosen if preferred (some of which were unrecognisable to a Brit). When asked the waiter recommended a local dry white wine which was very drinkable. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and recommend this restaurant to others.
