We were really impressed by this restaurant. We went to Kitchen Lovers because of all the good reviews on tripadvisor. It was over and over our expectations, finally a restaurant that stands out for quality of food, presentation of dishes and customer service, amongst many average restaurants that you find on the Paseo de La Cantera. We stayed in Maspalomas in the south of the Island for 10 days but after our first time at Kitchen Lovers, we decided to go back another two times. It was so good, it was definitely worth the 30 min journey from Maspalomas.
We tried pretty much everything on the menu, but what really impressed us was the "Arroz Caldoso" which is like a risotto dish with Lobster cooked in a delicious stock, which tasted like nothing we tasted before, EPIC DISH!
We also highly recommend the "Solomillo"(filet) with handmade mushroom butter, truffle oil and crispy chunky chips on the side.
Amazing selection of wines, Clara the waitress was exceptional at suggesting the perfect wine for our dinners. If you just pass by for a drink make sure you have Clara's mojito, in London you can hardly find one so tasty and balanced guys.
The price is very reasonable, just bear in mind that every ingredient comes directly from Italy, Iberian Peninsula and from the best markets in the area. They make their own bread and focaccia aswell as fresh pasta which shows the passion that these 3 guys are putting in what they do.
