I have visited this restaurant many times and have always beeen impressed by the quality of the food and the service. I visited recently with three friends. We shared two starters Huevos Estrellados y Chorizo (like scrambled eggs and sausage) and Pimientos del Piquillo (stuffed peppers with cod) - delicious as always.
For our main courses we choose Cherne Plancha (white fish), Dados Merluza Especial (hake), Merluza a la Vasca, and Solomillo Novillo (sirloin steak). My friends were very happy with their choices. I had not ordered Merluza a la vasca before; it tasted great but looked like an Irish Stew! We had two bottles of Senorio de Sobral (€18 per bottle) and the bill for four came to €150, including tip. This restaurant also do a Menu del Dia (menu of the day) for €17; a choice of three starters, three main courses, bread, drink, desert and cafe.
