“For food and beer lovers!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2014

Little bar with so many different kinds of beer from all over the world as well as local canaria products. Food is very delicious as well. Recommend dishes: Ropa Vieja, fired eggplants with honey, Moroccan style chicken stuffed with many different things that I can't remember. :D

“Great atmosphere, food and location in Vegueta”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2014

We know this place well from our visits on Thursday evenings when this bar/restaurant and every other in this part of Vegueta - as well as the pavements outside them - are bustling with the crowds who come for 'Pintxo Night' when 2 euros gets you a drink and one of the varied and tasty snacks that are set out on the bar. On Thursday evenings there's always a buzzing atmosphere at Te lo dije Perez. It has a good location in the old town on a paved, traffic free street with an atmospheric bar inside and tables outside.
Recently we came here to eat on an altogether quieter weekday evening and found great food and good service. The room is lined with an impressive selection of international bottled beers and it makes an interesting talking point during the meal.

“Must visit ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

Sitting here for the 2nd time in two days says it all really.

Great little bar with as wide a selection of world beers I've seen in a long time.

The staff are attentive when you want them to be but leave you alone when you don't. Tapas is reasonably priced and great quality.

Highly recommended

“Good.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

I eat here a lot when visiting Las Palmas. This time it was again enjoyable but a little disappointing. Service was prompt and courteous as usual, a nice neighbourhood bar ambiance; very pleasant. I had forgotten that their tapas are really raciones and that previously I had had half portions. This time my carpaccio de calabazin was a full portion and became a bit "samey" after a while. In addition, it no longer had the fabulous palmtree oil and ginger - just an olive oil and cheese. Much less interesting. The meat tapas to follow was very satisfactory. Seems to be a high turnover in waiting staff and in the kitchen. Pity. But still good and a nice place to go to.

“Fantastic bar and great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

One of the highlights of our trip to Las Palmas. This place has a huge selection of beers from all over Europe and provides a great selection of good Spanish food. The atmosphere is great and the staff are attentive and pleasant. It being situated close to the cathedral and the old town is a bonus. Will be returning whenever I visit Las Palmas again.
