“Fellini on the walls, and the food going with it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

It's very nicely hidden in the beautiful walls of the old city, next to the Columbus House, the Museum for Contemporary Art and behind the Cathedral. As soon as you enter, you think you are in Rome, end of the Sixties. Small rooms, intimate atmosphere. The landlady is gorgeous, with her delicate voice offering you a whole range of day specials besides the card.
Their pasta are fresh and i've only seen people around me having an enthusiastic smile on their face as soon as they tasted their choice.
A lovely place where you feel at home as soon as you enter… and you won't leave before having had a nice interesting talk with the mistress of the house.

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013

My friend and I had lunch off hours (summer 2013) and were graciously served not only what we ordered, but additional items that were exquisite. The hostess (and daughter in family that owns the establishment) was simply perfect. I recommend any of their flavored olive oil. I wish I could be eating there now.

“A fabulous quiet family lunch after visiting Columbus House”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

Eating Italian while in Gran Canaria might be a bit off, but if you travel with two pasta-monsters this is a perfect choice. The restaurant is two footsteps away from the Columbus House in a quiet street. There are two small tables outside and a couple of tables inside. The menu is typically italian and explained to you orally so hang in there to follow a stream of savoury sounding dishes. The kids were catered well as well with a basic pasta while we explored some sicilian dishes. If you need a quiet moment and if you can wait a couple of minutes for someone to prepare your dish, this is your address in Las Palmas.

“Authentic Italian Cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

We (a group of 3 Swiss) had lunch at "la dolce vita" during our excursion to Las Palmas. This was really a lucky strike! If you're looking for good italian food in an cosy athmosphere with a very friendly and personal service for a reasonable price, this is your place to go! Nicely situated in the old town and only a few minutes walk away from the cathedral.
Grazie mille e tanti saluti della svizzera :-)
