never ever go to this appartment it was the worse place i have ever stayed at.it was dirty no entertainment as stated in the brochure the bar closed for one week

had the misfortune to stay at the Acquacanis recently. We arrived at six in the morning to a deserted apartment complex with no one on reception. A key had been left for us and we had to maul our cases up several flights of stairs and find our apartment by guess work. The apartment was very run down and in need of decorating. The mirror in the bathroom was cracked from top to bottom...had a small child ran their finger up it, it would have been very nasty indeed...but of course, with no one on reception, there wouldn't have been anyone to call a doctor anyway. Approximately half of the lights didn't work. There were tiny "mite" type creatures infesting every surface. Still, at least they were smaller than the cockroaches! Also, please be aware that there is no air-conditioning and the apartments are extremely hot and stuffy at night.
We did bring these matters up with our rep, but nothing was resolved.
The holiday was advertised with entertainment and activities for children. No entertainment, nothing for children. On several evenings, the bar wasn't even opened.
A lot of these apartments have been sold to Spanish residents. Most of these people were lovely, family minded people but a minority were disgustingly rude and abusive with two teenage boys (encouraged by their Mother) constanly trying to pick fights with English children regardless of age/gender. We watched open-mouthed as this group spat, threw stones and mooned at a coach leaving to take holiday makers back to the airport.
There were clearly marked notices saying that the pool was not to be used after nine at night, but again, the same group continued to use the pool until one in the morning, screeching and shouting and making it generally impossible to sleep. And of course...there aren't any staff there at night to stop them.
Puerto Rico itself is lovely. Plenty to see and do, cheap to eat out etc, but personally, I wouldn't let a dog stay in these apartments.

my boyfriend and I have just come back from an amazing holiday in Gran canaria! The apartments were lovely and were cleaned everyday as well as recieving clean towels quite frequently.The apartment was quite big consisting of a kitchen diner, bathroom bedroom and large terrace. We went self catering and was quite dissapointed because there were only hobs to cook with, no oven. However we had a kettle toaster and lots of cooking utensils all of them clean and tidy. we spent most of our time out and about so all we really wanted from the hotel was somewhere clean to eat and sleep and the apartments were both of these.The pool was lovely,extremely cold at first but then its fine after that!!! The shower was nice,everytime we used it the water was hot,not always boiling but far from cold. The bar and resturant were hardy ever open but We would have quite happily eaten there at the apartments if they were. Its in a very peaceful location, however theres a nearby netto, newsagents,several resturants and a couple of bars. It is a little walk from the beach but the location is so lovely that it wasnt really a problem, athough a little bit tiring!!The view was lovely from the terrace as we overlooked the pool and also the sea. We really enjoyed our stay and would definately return to puerto rico and would definately stay at these apartments again!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a week in September...room was ok, it was clean and had a nice view, however could do with an update. Staff fantastic, very helpful. Other people staying there a good laugh, although we were bit noisy some nights!! Would reccomend amadores beach over the pool...absoultely beautiful and only a cheap cab ride away! Apartments in good location, had a lovely hol!!
