“Fantastically Maintained Pathways”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

Don't be put off La Gomera because of last year's forest fires. Yes there is damage but the National Park is so vast that it does not affect your enjoyment. And the locals have worked so hard to get the paths and path signage back up and running that they deserve your support.

“Forest fire”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

It is a pity we could not see the 'damp' forest because of the fires this summer
Very sad to see that almost half of the national parc in black and burned

“Beautiful little Island”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Depending where you are situated on the Island of Tenerife the journey to Los Cristianos to catch the ferry is a nice trip in it's self.
The ferry crossing from Los Cristianos is about 40 minutes to La Gomera.
Bring something warm like a jacket or jumper because it gets cold up in the National Park.

“Great destination”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012 via mobile

Fantastic walks. Call into the visitors centre before setting off to pick up your walking maps. Forest fires have affected some routes however there are plenty will open. Walking boots essential. Enjoy the tranquility.

“Really Unique!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

Although i did not have much time here, this was an amazing place to visit! The wildlife was amazing, with heather growing up to 4m high! The Gomeran Cookies are amazing - buy them from the little shop in the arches at the visitor centre!
