“Nice Beach and a nature reserve”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

Crescent beach and some bars/cafes but quiet on the while. The Nature reserve is nearby for walks
The Beach is a very gentle slope which means you can go quite a way out before it even reaches your knees

“S'Albufera National Park is superb”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

The National Park is superb if you like wildlife.. Plenty of water fowl on the lake plus we saw booted eagles soaring overhead, an osprey and an Egyptian Vulture. We saw wild tortoise in the sand dunes on the lower walk (walk 1) which were amazing. Es Grau is a small resort with a couple of bars and one or two shops. The beach is good for kids and is very shallow all the way across the bay.

“The nature reserve was a lovely walk!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

With our tour guide Mike Stevenson we went on a walk around the nature reserve at Es Grau. He showed us the many tortoises and gave us lots of extra information we wouldn't have known otherwise. The view from the mirador is stunning and well worth a visit!

“Tranquil area for walking and observing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

Second visit to this area and once again found it enchanting and so peaceful. Bus gave us only 2 hours there but could have stayed much longer. Spotted a young tortoise which was the main reason for coming plus many birds. A little hot for walking but love the beach area too.
