We heard about this restaurant on the off-chance, and it is centrally located in Palma and close to where we were staying that weekend, so we decided to give it a shot. It is located in a very modern looking hotel called the Palacio Avenida, which we later read used to be an old cinema, and the actual restaurant itself also has a modern Mediterranean vibe to it. We tried the set menu at 26 Euros per person, and we were very pleased with the food. It was an informal gathering between friends, and we all found something to eat when the food was brought to us. The staff were attentive, and the food was well presented and hot. We later found out that the chef also has another restaurant somewhere on the island, so we may make a point of finding where it is and paying a visit another time. The dishes all had a modern twist to them, but not too modern in the way that sometimes can be a bit weird. The bar also serves nice cocktails too, not too expensive, and the bar area is one of the key focus points of the restaurant. Very sleek and chic!.
