“Great for biking, hiking, simply wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

Mallorca is beautiful, but the Serra de Tramuntana def. is one of its most stunning areas! It is great for road biking, hiking, mountain biking, motorcycling, trail running and relaxing.

“Magnificent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

Great drive...pass by some of the most enchanting villages and landscape you will see along in one region...In order to stop at each town and walk through for about 30-60 min in each, I would recommend doing the drive in 2 days from Palma...the first through Port D'Andratz up to Soller and back and the next from Soller to Cap Formentor and back via the autovia(main highway)

“Unbelievable Views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

After experiencing the Highway 1 in California and Grand Canyon, I thought there will be nothing left on planet earth that makes me catch my breath. But this was before I have been driving up and down all the snake like roads from one village to the next in this wonderful area.

“Hair raising spectacular drive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

We had a hire car and drove from Palma up to Soller, taking the main road which goes through a tunnel through the mountain; on the way back I said to my husband if he wanted to go back the same route or take the longer route back via Deia and Valdemossa. He had only been driving in Spain for a few days and he found the experience a bit daunting but he agreed to go back via the more picturesque route (particularly as you have to pay toll to use the other road).
Well the views were truly stunning, Deia was breathtakingly beautiful, unfortunately I got a serious case of vertigo! The road was one hair pin bend after another, and no barriers of any kind between you and the sheer drop, my husband coped really well, but I found myself gripping onto the seat for dear life. It is certainly worth the drive but any fear of heights will really kick in as you really do feel like you are clinging to the top of a mountain, with a clear view of the several mile drop to the ocean.

“What a view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

We went on the No Frills Island excursion which included a trip up to see these mountains. The view was amazing and well worth the rather scary trip up there in the coach! definitely a side of Majorca worth seeing.
