“Stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013 via mobile

We visited the Cathedral today which was a Sunday. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece, with amazing stain glass above the altar.

This is not just a tourist attraction but also a very vibrant, working cathedral. Visitors were allowed to take pictures but were kept from the centre of the cathedral, where Mass was about to start. I was very impressed at how religious respect was adhered to in terms of Sunday Church goers being able to worship whilst tourists were allowed to observe from the periphery.

This is an fantastic building & well worth a visit.

“Beatiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

We visited Palma Cathedral last week and it was well worth visiting. Outside, there is a lovely vibe with the artists and musicians creating a wonderful atmosphere. Inside was beautiful, with all the alters and works of art. We saw it from our cruise ship and it was even more impressing close up. Palma city is really nice to walk around as well, lots of nice buildings with many pavement cafes to have something to eat or just a drink.

“a beauty in itself - with gaudi gems!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

magnificent view from any side, inside and out; beautiful and meaningful altars; like a treasure chest of arts and architecture but quiet enough to pray inside; watch out for the gaudi cross at main altar, gaudi staircase at one of the side altars, and the gaudi floor design on the main gate!

“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

Is this the best cathedral I have ever visited? Well, it certainly ranks amongst the world's most impressive bits of architecture. It literally took our breath away - even on our return visit. The bits done by Gaudi were particularly impressive for us - but then we're already fans!
