An excellent hotel in all respects. The accomodation and food were always excellent. Myself and the other members of our party would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Spent a week in September at the Costa Azul. We were a bit worried about the big road in front of the hotel but this was not a problem as double glazing and air conditioning were very effective. Fantastic views, especially if you have a room high up, and excellent location. Room clean and tidy (could have had a lick of paint though) and of good size. Free fridge was a definite bonus. Only had bed and breakfast, so can't speak for the quality of the evening meal. Breakfast good, but trays would have helped avoid numerous trips to the buffet. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

We chose to stay at The Costa Azul after reading other good reviews. We were not disappointed by our chouce. A room with a sea view on the upper floors is best. We loved to sit on the balcony relaxing and just watching the activity in the harbour. There is some noise from the busy road out front but can be blocked out by closing the window if required. Breakfast was good but best to get down early as it gets busy. Room was clean but minibar was empty so we just used it as a fridge for drinks bought from the local shops. Staff were friendly and helpful and bar prices were surprisingly low. Don't miss the indian restaurant next door - it's brill. Bus No. 1 from the airport stops right outside the door. We'll be back !

Had high hopes of this hotel after reading the mostly good reviews and wasn't disappointed. The rooms are larger than average, basic and spotlessly clean. The view from the balcony was fantastic: marina to the front and Cathedral to the left. The location was very good, although it took us longer than other reviewers to walk into town (although that may have been because we were walking very slowly!). Breakfast was a bit chaotic, but that could have been because we seemed to arrive on both mornings at the busiest times. I would say that the breakfast was adequate, but machine coffee and the hot selections weren't great. The staff were lovely and the drinks in the bar were a bargain! All in all, we had a great weekend in Palma, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Costa Azul.
