“City Holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Very pleasant stay for a one week holiday. Great central location walking distance to all amenities .
Room spacious and comfortable but very disappointed there was no kettle to make tea or coffee ( I did request one by email prior to arriving but ALAS didn't get one.We look forward to relaxing in our room with a' cuppa ' after long day sightseeing.) Breakfast was excellent great variety and well organised. Staff pleasant and helpful. Wi Fi free but difficulty connecting from room on 7th floor, no problem in dining area or foyer. Would return and recommend to family and friends.

Room Tip: Wi Fi connection slow to connect from 7th floor.

Location is it´s best feature, followed by style and staff. The room itself was fine, though nothing out of the ordinary. It was clean, modern and had good bedding and a nice bathroom but nothing extra special to set it apart from other city hotels in its category. The lobby, lounge and restaurant are probably the nicest areas down on the ground level, and the restaurant attracts quite a few passers by and locals to stop for lunch or a coffee. The staff are good people. My wife accidently left her expensive designer sunglasses behind on a chair in the reception and when we returned hours later the receptionist ran over as we entered to hand them back to her.
The central location and fair price we paid would sway me to book here again.

The hotel is right in the centre of Palma. The check in was quick and easy and the staff were all very friendly. We found the breakfast and other meals very good quality and reasonable in price. The rooms are large and modern, everywhere was spotlessly clean. My grumbles with the hotel are about the room however, firstly the fact that there are no carpets (and clearly no sort of insulation or padding under the wooden floor) meant that you could hear every noise from the rooms above. I didn't sleep very well because of this. I also would have liked tea and coffee facilities in my room which this hotel didn't have. A good night's sleep is priority one for me and unfortunately although the rest of the hotel was nice the disturbed sleep on both nights means I can only rate the hotel as average.

What a fabulous hotel this is. I stayed for a long weekend with my husband, sister and brother in law for a birthday celebration. We got a taxi from the airport and arrived in about fifteen minutes. Both rooms were plush, modern and comfortable with a fantastic bed. The location is great for the city but it sounds boring to keep reading reviews that go on about the same thing so I will mention that I really did fall for this hotel. The sculptures and art are the best I have seen out of any art gallery and the pieces chosen are so avant garde it was the nicest surprise to view such great works inside a hotel. This is why we always prefer independent hotels. You never know what awaits you. I can highly recommend the restaurant too, you will need to pre book at the weekend. Hated leaving.

Stayed three nights end Sep/early Oct. can't really fault it. Vey well located for exploring the city and well appointed for the price. Foyer, lounge and dining room very stylish and comfortable, bedroom perfectly acceptable, though our bathroom a little tired, but not enough to spoil the overall impression. Our room was at the back so no view, but we only used it as a base, and it was very quiet! Breakfast was outstanding, everything one could wants served by diligent and efficient staff.

We stayed here for a long weekend recently and the location of the hotel was the best for us for shopping and city tours. The welcome was very nice by the couple that checked us and the room was special but using a little brighter colors could give it more life. I have not been to other hotels in the area but we thought that it was very good for the cost and location and room.

My two night stay in Palma was comfortable, and I was more than happy with this choice of hotel. The staff, breakfast and whole ambiance was of a professional no nonsense one. Check in and out was simple and the bill was correct. My short stay didn't allow me to enjoy all that this hotel had to offer so I can't comment. Excellent value and service.
