“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2011

This hotel is situated within walking distance to the shopping area, old town and the port. Staff are extremely efficient and friendly. All areas of the hotel are spotless and street seating is a lovely way to enjoy breakfast whilst watching the locals going about their business. Breakfast selection was always fresh and plentiful. Had one evening meal at the hotel and it was ok, much better choices to be found in the old town. My room was a junior suite with a balcony and once again it was ok. The room had glass sliding doors partioning off the room which I felt created a lot of wasted space. The spa was excellent altough it did not have enough equipment in the gym.

This is the perfect city hotel. Central location walking distance to all the major attractions including the old town and marinas. Spotlessly clean good sized rooms with funky modern design and great art in the hallways and lobby. Staff very friendly and excellent English. Lovely bar/restaurant adjoining hotel with terrace outside which is where breakfast was served.....an excellent range of goodies and delicious coffee.

The only negative point, which is a small one, was the 3 euro a day charge for the safe, not a deal breaker but a bit cheap for the standard of this hotel.

Good location (very easy to get to by bus from the airport - 2 euros), close to shops and some cafes. Short walk to cathedral, centre & marina (beach further 25 mins walk). Staff very welcoming and helpful and with good English. Room bright, clean and spacious.

Room Tip: Each floor has one room right next to the lift which is probably worth trying to avoid (as the lift...

I arrived with my girlfriend on Sept. 5 for a 3 night stay. The airport bus (2 euro) drops you off directly accross the street. The exterior and lobby are quite nice. I was very pleased with the room, although our double bed were two twins pushed together. It was spacious, modern and included a balcony. It also had a mini bar and safe (3 euro per day). The hotel's location is excellent. It's close enough to walk nearly everywhere and a quiet haven to return to upon a days' worth of sightseeing. El Cortes Ingles is a 5 minute walk. We stopped daily at the supermarket in the basement where we stocked up on water and snacks for the day.WiFi (free) was a bit spotty during the day, but worked better at night. Breakfast (included) didn't have the most choices, but easily fuelled us until lunch. If I were to return to Palma, I would stay at the HM Jaime III without hesitation.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony

Thanks trip advisor as found this hotel to be lovely and will recommend to friends.Good location and also bus route into Palma very good.Great breakfast and clean comfortable rooms,
couldn't have wanted more, air con and black out curtains. Free shower gel/ and shampoo, razor, toothbrush and comb! and a good safe(,3 euros to hire).Just one point there is a charge to use the TV,but it does make for a quiet hotel.Would stay here again. Free complimetry glass of Cava to enjoy. Lovely shops, restaurants and bars around the area of the hotel.Balcony with chairs and table for all rooms.

This was a 2 night stay with 7 girlfriends, I shared my standard twin room which was perfectly adequate for our needs. There was a mini bar, TV and hair-dryer, no bath essentials though..bring your own! The safe usage incurrs an extra charge. Room Keys have a habit of not working !!
The location was perfect for shopping, sightseeing etc. The bar/cafe stays open until midnight, pleasant for late night drinks outside too..this is also where breakfast is served. The food was average in choice but plentiful. I think the outside appearance of the hotel and reception is more alluring than the rooms we had but maybe there are better ones..we were at the back of the hotel 2 floors up, quiet but no view and badly lit interiors. Would I go again? probably but not for a romantic break with my partner.

Room Tip: Fine for a short city break to sightsee in the area
