“Lovely, modern hotel with friendly/helpful staff”

We have just stayed in this great hotel for 3 nights and would highly recommend it! The staff were very friendly, the hotel was immaculately clean and the buffet breakfast was lovely. The rooms were very nice and had huge showers. The spa was a wonderful treat and the back massage was amazing. Having the bar right next to the swimming pool was brilliant and the Cava Sangria was gorgeous! The manager, Rubén, was very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely return if I visit Palma again.

Went for a weekend trip with a friend. Hotel a half hour bus trip (number 1) or 20 mins in a taxi (€25)

Friendly reception. However the single beds we requested were not available. She said because of this she'd put us on the 9th floor. We thought we were getting a better room but were somewhat disappointed!

The room was very small. No drawers in bedside or wardrobe. No vanity area. Two women need more than 1 mirror!!
On a plus, there was a kettle (according to the hotel bumf that's normally an extra) a great view and a good shower.
They are currently redoing the lifts ......the current lifts are tiny and will only hold 3 people.

The breakfast was fabulous, buffet style. Lots of different choices, lots of seating and a great egg man. We were seriously spoilt for choice and always left feeling stuffed!
The gym looked good but rather disappointingly didn't open until 9. If you want to get a work out done you don't want to be hanging around until 9. The hotel needs to get this gym open at 6.

Good pools, plenty of sun loungers but the pool bar doesn't open till midday and the staff there were deeply unhelpful.

All in all a nice little hotel for the price. Lots of decent eateries nearby and within walking distance of the centre.

Stayed in April 2015. we had a third floor room (nice view but you'll get a better view the higher up you are) which was lovely. Hotel very clean. Good location - 10 mins walk if that to beautiful harbour area. 1/2 hour walk to Cathedral. Bike hire is 3 euros per day which was great for us as my hubby cant walk far but cycling was easier, cycling paths are everywhere so all very safe and one ran all along the sea front for miles. Breakfast was great too. Only drawback for us was that we booked a double room but got 2 single beds pushed together but with separate sheets etc - not great seeing as we were away for our 25th wedding anniversary! Asked to move rooms but was told no as they were full.

Room Tip: Make sure you email them to say you want a double bed - just booking a double room won't ensure...

My wife and I stayed in the hotel Isla Majorca & Spa whilst on a short break to Palma, 20 - 24 April. We booked an Executive room on a B&B basis. The Executive rooms are located in the Spa building on the opposite side of a courtyard from the main reception. The hotel itself is located in a residential area a short walk from the main water front and extensive Palma marina. We were given a cordial welcome by the hotel reception staff, check-in was swift and we soon had the keys to our room. Reception also provided us with a City map and provided details of local bus routes that would take us directly to the City Centre. We chose an Executive room not because as the name might suggest it had better facilities but because it was the largest of the rooms available without upgrading to a suite. We found the room to have all of the facilities required for a short break, good size bed with a firm mattress, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar. The Television is digital and does have some international channels. The en-suite did not have a bath but had a large and perfectly adequate shower. The hotel public areas and the rooms have a free WiFi service, which is okay for downloading email but the connection speed would not support much more. In the hotels restaurant breakfast is served buffet style and there was a good selection of both continental and cooked food available. We only had one evening meal in the hotel, which was again buffet style. For those travelling on a budget the hotel evening meals were very reasonably priced and they do a deal, which reduces the price if you elect to eat there on each night of your stay. During the day, the hotel opens it's pool bar for both snacks and drinks. I found that they had a good choice available and I did not find the prices to be excessive. During our stay the hotel facilities were readily available but I would imagine that during the peak summer months both the outdoor pool and the spa may become rather busy. There is a Supermarket and several good restaurants all within easy walking distance of the hotel and the City Centre is about a fifteen to twenty minute walk and only five minutes by taxi. We enjoyed our stay at the Isla Majorca and would recommend the hotel for both Business travelers and tourists.

Room Tip: Best views are from the tower block and quieter rooms are in he Spa block

Arrived with 5 friends for a short break. There was a mix up with our booking as we had booked through an agent and they hadn't confirmed our rooms. Reuben who worked at reception was very helpful. He contacted the agent for us and did all he could to help. We finally got to our rooms and were very impressed. Spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was great. Big choice of very nice food and the chef was on hand to cook my eggs and bacon how I particularly wanted them. Lovely pool area, not massive but big enough. Pool bar was great and food there was lovely. Wouldn't take kids there as they would probably get bored, but great for adults who want to laze by the pool drinking pina coladas all day. Would go back again.

We stayed here at the end of our holiday break before returning home. Only a short distance from airport so a good choice for a stay at beginning or end of a holiday. We had a junior suite on 9th floor. Lots of space and good view over the city to the mountains. No outside space (balcony etc) which in the summer you might miss. However! You get a lounge area with sofa inside so the space was gained inside. Quiet room and very comfortable. TV was hit and miss with only a few UK channels but most of Spain is like that now. Good choice of food in buffet style restaurant. We were half board and so had breakfast and dinner there. Busy and nice ambience. Drinks not too pricey (2 - 3 euros for a glass of wine). Staff very helpful and friendly. Bikes available to use to get around the city (nice idea). Didn't have time to use spa facilities but they looked a little pricey and you had to pay 9 euros just to get in. Walking distance of cathedral and most of the city. Reception can organise the hop on and off tour bus for you which we used as a means of seeing more in a short space of time and as general transport but if you have the time and don't mind walking you can get to most places on foot. Would return for a longer stay but would prob go for a room that looked out the other side to the sea and had a balcony

Room Tip: All depends what you want. We had room 910 and we were happy with it but have nothing to compare it...

We were given a first floor room, with an excellent view over a carpark and right above the kitchen (which, apart from the aroma, also produces a tremendous amount of noise after 10pm, when the staff is washing and storing the dishes and utensils).

The breakfast: average, at best. Powder eggs-like omelette, greasy fried eggs, various sausages and similar stuff that looks like it's been already digested. Good juice, though, says my beloved.

Room service: not fond of replacing used coffee cups, soaps or any other little things we were so bold to use.

For EUR130 per night, very poor value for money indeed.
