“Fabulous Hotel in Palma”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2011

Stayed here for 5 day break with my huband. Hotel was a lovely retreat. We booked a room with own Terrace and sunbeds which was fabulous. We could sit and read a book overlooking the pool without leaving our room. The room was modern and clean. The bathroom was ultra-modern with lovely shower (wetroom) style.
The breakfast was lovely but evening meal was not much to write home about. It was typical buffet style but I found the food to be a bit cold. I would definately not recommend the evening meal. But I feel bad for saying that as the staff were lovely. The hotel reception staff were helpful. The Spa staff were lovely although I cannot comment on the facilities as we didn't really have time to use them. We just visited there to borrow towels and have a nose! The staff were very patient putting up with my husband's attempts to speak spanish.
We tried to borrow the bikes at the hotel but they were always booked up. The hotel staff put us in touch with a bike hire shop which was just a few mins walk away where we hired bikes. Palma is great for biking as has cycle route right along beach - we cycled one day to Arinal where the cycle path goes all the way there. You can stop at lovely bars on the way. You can also cylcle to Palma Nova but this is more hilly and there is small parts where you have to go on the road but still worth a go.
The hotel's location is slightly out of Palma but only took us 10 min walk to castle. The transport from the airport to the hotel is easy to use if you are an independent traveller. We got the public bus form airport to Palma (2 euro) and a Taxi from there to the hotel (5euro). On the way back we just go a taxi back to airport(15 - 20 euro). Transport is quite inexpensive when you compare it to eating and drinking!
Great place for a break away. Would recommend this hotel to couples/friends/business.

Room Tip: Book room with Terrace. Has its own sunbeds.

Dear andyewie,

Thank you so much for kind words and such useful tips for all users that might be interested in our hotel or just Palma itself. Please do not feel bad to share your impressions on every detail of the hotel, even if you think we can do better here or there, as we are not perfect, but we certainly are always looking to improve and offer our guest as enjoyable a stay as possible, and there’s nothing better than your own feedback to reach that goal. We are really glad to know that you liked your stay so much and we hope to have you back with us in the future.

Best regards.

We stayed 3 nights in a standard double room on the fourth floor with a a nice balcony looking over the pool and garden area to one side and the sea on the other.
The room was modern and clean, as others have mentioned not too big, but ok for the short time we were staying. The beds were comfortable.
The staff at the reception were extremely nice, check in was fast and they were able to give us our room well before the official check in time. They provided us with maps of the city, explained where to go for markets, shopping and sightseeing and printed out some documents we needed.
We were disappointed by the choice they offered for breakfast. The fruit salad was made from tinned fruit and the juices were not fresh either. There was no variation for breakfast, they had every day exactly the same food.
We wanted to use the Spa area but you have to pay 10Euro to access it and we thought that one hour swimming was not worth this amount of money. It'll be a nice touch to give a discount price for people staying at the hotel!

All in all it is a good hotel, but they need to work on a few things (breakfast, towels) to keep the standard.

As regular short-break visitors to Mallorca, my wife and I chose this hotel as result of the Trip Advisor ratings and reviews; and we were not disapointed.

This must be one of the best city-break hotels in Palma, providing a great all-round experience.

The hotel itself is located in a great area of Palma - with all the main attractions within walking distance - and has a contemporary design which is attractive, classy and clean. The grounds and pool area are really smart and great for relaxing in. One small point is that there could have been a little more attention to cleaning up used glasses, plates, etc, around the pool tables, but it was a minor inconvenience.

The staff were outstanding, particularly at Reception, very welcoming at check-in and helpful throughout our stay.

Rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable. Balconies good size and great views of the pool and port.

Overall, one of the best short-breaks we have ever had in Mallorca and even though we are pretty fussy travellers, we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Definitely will be back.

I do like this hotel - used it when working in Palma and again on a short break..
Not as central as most but, we like walking so, loved the walk to and from town..
The hotel is super clean and they very kindly gave me the room I asked for. The Reception
Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast choices were not very exciting and we shouldn't have bothered paying the extra for it - much nicer choices in town (nothing very exciting nearby). Pool IS small and no chance of relaxing if a group want to be around the pool..That said, it's still a great hotel.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Isala Mallorca . Only 5 minutes walk from the Port , Great choice at Breakfast . Rooms immaculate and all areas well maintained through out . Could do with getting some new bikes though !!

Room was small but adequate. We had a room with a terrace and this was a worthwhile investment. The bathroom and shower were great and the room was very clean. Location is outside the main city but it was a pleasant and safe walk into the city.
The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. It was self service but we had to find and lay our own table for breakfast each morning. We found this odd as you are able to book without breakfast and any-one could have breakfast as no-one checked you in!!! The selection was good but more based for European palates than English; very limited cereal selection. It wasn't luxurious but for a city hotel adequate and value for money.

Room Tip: Worth paying the extra for one of the rooms with a terrace

Stayed here Oct 2010. Great rooms, lovely pool area with comfy sunbeds, friendly staff, very close to harbour and restaurants. Hotel bar is extremely reasonable. Spa is so lovely and again reasonable. Would definitely stay here if I was in Palma again.gorgeous beach 20min bus away.
