“Good Steak”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

Good little spot. Had the potato and steak option and thought it was decent. Good service and reasonably priced.

“Bad service and mediocre food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

We went here for ensaimadas on the basis of guidebook recommendations. Firstly, the service is extremely brusque and unsmiling. Secondly, the service is poor. The pastry arrives, then you wait 10 minutes for the coffee.
The coffee and pastries themselves were not good. The coffee was vile- bitter and weak. The pastry didn't seem fresh. Our ensaimadas were dry and had the texture of white bread. Not good. Avoid.

“Terrible coffee & terrible service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013 via mobile

We visited to simply have a coffee and cake. I would not recommend this to others after our experience.
Despite my wife speaking Spanish to the in attentive waiter, we were delivered two coffees and no pastries. The coffee was quite horrid and incredibly bitter. After wondering where our pastries were and desperately trying to attract the attention of the waiter and waitress (who were both engaged in conversation with a friend who was passing by) we opted for a different pastry. When this arrived it was very good but you can guess that when the bill arrived it had all the pastries etc.

In summary, it really seemed that the customers were not particularly welcomed!

“The worst food I've had in years!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

The service was unfriendly to begin, "bloody tourist" attitude. Lots of tourists here. Our beers arrived some time later. Our second beers never arrived which was just as well as the food was so bad we decided to leave. Anchovies in oil soggy like from a bad supermarket deli. Patatas bravas oily soggy chips, how can you mess up patatas bravas!!? Sobrasado with cheese beyond tasteless! Serrano ham the worst I've ever seen or tasted!!! How did this place get into the Top 10 guidebook? Avoid this place like the plague (which I'll hopefully not pick up despite eating here).

“Bustling city tapas bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Wandering through Palma on a Sunday afternoon looking for something better than pizza we were so grateful to find this place that I must be careful not to overrate it, but it was good. We took literally the last table inside, everything outside being full too, yet the staff looked after us as well as if there had only been a few people in. Very varied clientele. An elderly Spanish couple finishing lunch on the next table as we arrived were replaced by a couple of young Italian girls playing YouTube clips and having a laugh. Excellent house wine by the glass - generally a good sign - better than the named bottles of red and white Rioja in some other restaurants. We had prawns in garlic (lots of real garlic so better believe them), freshly fried Calamari and best of all grilled seasonal vegetables - all as you would expect in this sort of place. Authentic and good quality. Well worth a visit.
