“Going back in time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

A must ... Only way to see solder old town on this beautiful wooden train that takes you through some picturesque mountain scenery and into a little town square tt seems to have stopped in time great for sitting and watching the world go buy whilst sipping on a chilled glass of wine. Then carry on to t busy port at the bottom again a must so much to see and do and buy.

“Wonderful excursion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013 via mobile

It was a wonderful excursion including the train ride, the tram to the port, a boat trip to La Calobra, a couple of hours swimming and a bus ride home through the mountaineous region! Beautiful sights all day long and a nice experience on a 100 year old train.

“Its a train journey ...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

massively recommended on Tripadvisor I took this trip whilst visiting Palma.

Its a a train journey on an old train through attractive countryside and the views are terrific.

However, the train was pretty busy so be prepared for that and the return journey is even busier as there is a gap between the 2pm and 6:30 train that means anyone there has to return on that last train.

The town of Soller was very pretty but on Saturday afternoon the market closed at 2 and so did many other places so that last few hours waiting for train was a bit laboured.

The port of Soller has some good restaurants and a beach all of which is pretty typical of a Mediterranean port.

“Beautiful scenery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

We travelled in the middle of the day when the train was far less crowded so we could keep switching from one side of the carriage to the other to take photos.
