“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

Visited twice now and I really can't fault the food, service, ambience or even price.

The relaxed atmosphere and approach to dining makes this place a real pleasure to have a relaxing meal at.

I've eaten both at a table and at the 'kitchen' where you can watch some of the kitchen staff at work producing your food.

The quality of the food is superb, the menu not bewilderingly large and the staff very helpful.

A must visit.

“Fun Great atmosphere and above all delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Second experience of a Mark Fosh restaurant and what a gem. If you can, get a table at the open kitchen. The chefs are busy and charming, and will talk you through their fantastic creations. We tried the 5 course tasting menu and were delighted. The rest of staff could not be more obliging. Take their recommendation on good local red wine and enjoy the cava cocktails!!!!

“A gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

We found out about Marc Fosh from a Sunday Mail article and decided to track down one of his restaurants for lunch during a recent visit to Palma. We looked at Misa first but the vegetarian options that day didn't tickle my vegetarian daughters taste buds so we headed for another mentioned in the review, Tasca, Gastro Bar.
We unusually for us chose the 3 course menu of the day, because it suited both our tastes; this changes weekly, so I will not labour the food we ate, just to say it was delicious and we could not fault the quality, presentation, service and price.
If I have a gripe it was my glass of Prosecco which when ordering I had asked how long the bottle had been opened and assured it was fresh, went totally flat within 5 minutes, However when pointed out to the waiter, Alexandro (?) who was very patient with my daughters Spanish, but also spoke excellent English, it was replaced. The next two glasses were excellent!! He had a great sense of humour which added to the visit.
Because we were only one of two tables occupied during our lunch I cannot give atmosphere the highest rating although I would imagine it would have a great buzz when full.

“A great eating experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

We went to the Tasca on the recommendation of a Mallorcan resident and we weren't disappointed. The decor is what I think is now referred to as "modern urban". The open kitchen, with the opportuinity to get up close to the chefs, and the friendly, attentive staff give the place a relaxed, uncomplicated atmosphere.
My wife and I ordered three tapas as a starter and had mains of braised lamb with couscous and rabbit with polenta. Both dishes were freshly prepared and very well presented. It was clear that the head chef paid great attention to detail. For dessert we enjoyed a classic crumble and Eton mess. All in all, it was a very good meal at a very agreeable price (main courses were approx. €15). It was the best meal that we had during our five day break and we highly recommend it.
