“good lunch menu”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

we have been twice for the lunch menu and both times we have really enjoyed it. the style is more fine dining, so don't expect huge portions. the lunch menu is good value, good location, good service. we will return for a 3rd try of the lunch menu

“Heavenly food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013 via mobile

We loved the food here. We had tapas. The foei gras with Ximenez sherry was out of this world and the cornets with a ceviche of fish filling were also superb.
It is a very busy , bustling and lively place and it is certainly best to book.
The service was impeccable.
Wine is all reasonably priced too.
A very good night out and we would go again without doubt .

“Intimate but full of atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

A bit on the expensive side but a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Food was lovely, service impeccable, good choice of wines and cocktails. Great location in the old town, lots of character spread out over a number of rooms upstairs overlooking the bustling streets below retaining its old house style -intimate but full of atmosphere

“Nice place, food average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

Visited mid April 2013 on recommendation. Very nice reception at door, good decor and friendly staff.
Very good cocktails and wines by the glass
Food sounds appetising but did not live up to expectations. Had four "Tapas" at 14 euros each. Two fish (eel and cuttle fish) and two meat (lamb and black pudding). None were particularly good.
A good example of a restaurant getting everything right except the food. Menu had too many things on it for the kitchen to prepare freshly I would imagine.
Bill came to 115 euros for 2 cocktails, 3 glasses of house wine, a bottle of water and 4 tapas, bit steep for the quality on offer
Maybe I had a bad experience because there were queues each of the 3 nights we passed afterwards
