Dined at this waterside restaurant two nights ago. The Italian food was superb in particulat the pasta dishes which were wide and varied. High quality bruschetta was followed by a starter of pumpkin soup. This is a particuLar favourite which we have sampled around the world but we both agreed that this was the best ever. I followed this with Penne accompanied with mussels and haricot beans. Plenty of everything in a divine sauce. My wife had the tagliatelle with king prawns in a saffron sauce. She loves Italian food and was surprised to find such quality outside Italy.
Our host explained that he and his brother hailed from Naples and were from a family of restaurateurs. The restaurant has only been open for six months but should not be missed when in the area. I wish them every success.
