“Good location, basic, no frill hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

The best thing abut the hotel is its location - very close to the beach and walking distance to the train and us stations. Also we found the people at the reception were helpful, friendly and spoke English. The room itself was clean, but very basic. Bed was comfortable for me,but my husband said it sent that great for him. Same with bathroom. Towels are on the thin side.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. There are a couple of places around the corner one can get coffee and a pastry in the morning for about 3 Euro.
For a one or two night stay , it is perfectly sufficient .

A charming hotel for a very good price very well located. The room was perfect, the bathroom very clean, the car parking excellent. The breakfast was simple but filling and the price was amazingly low.

the hotel is perfectly situated, close to the beach, walking distance to everything. The room was small, dated and smelled like air freshener. Staff was very nice. The breakfast was very good as well. Average hotel and room, very good location.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Zaragoza Plaza. Our room was excellent, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, very close to the sea and convenient to the old town. It was exceptionally good value. If we have the opportunity to return to San Sebastian, we will certainly plan to stay there.

very well located, two blocks away from the beach, it's an amazing deal. The 3 guys at the reception were all helpful and friendly and the breakfast was simple but filling... of course parking the car can be quite an expensive issue in San Sebastian, be ready to pay at least 18 euros for one day... overall, i found the hotel more interesting than the city of San Sebastian itself...

Room Tip: if you want to sleep late in the morning, try to get a room away from the breakfast room (on the 1st...

We stayed here for four nights and got a very good deal via this website (255 euro including breakfast). The room was smallish but more than enough for our needs. The bathroom was small but again more than adequate. Both were spotless and cleaned every day. Breakfast was assorted breads, pastries, cold meats and cheese -and sometimes fruit and yoghurt - with coffee and juice. More than enough to set you up for the day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is one building away from La Concha beach - which we could see from our balcony - and around ten minutes walk from the old town. If you're arriving by bus from the airport then the bus station is around twenty minutes walk away or there are taxis at the bus station. We had a small balcony as our room was on the first floor at the front of the hotel. There was some noise in the early hours on Saturday night /Sunday morning but this was not the fault of the hotel but rather the fact that Real Sociedad played Barcalona and won and some locals did a little too much celebrating. However, this didn't really bother us for more than a few minutes. The blackout curtains kept out all the light and the tv worked fine (though it's all Spanish channels - but who goes on holiday to watch tv?). Wifi in the hotel worked fine for us. Air conditioning also worked okay. There is no bar or gym (hence the one star) but all in all this hotel probably deserves three stars for service and location. You get what you pay for so if you're looking for a basic good value hotel then this option is well worth considering and I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We asked for a balcony or view when booking and this was included in our price. Lovely view over t...
