“Very good place to stay...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

Great location, just minutes' walk from the centre, with some nice little coffee and cake shops nearby. Rooms are well proportioned and we had a balcony at the back to enjoy our wine from. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful- not our experience throughout the rest of Spain, and indeed in some of Zaragoza's restaurants. We enjoyed free internet use in the Business Centre. The only complaint was the room was not thoroughly cleaned, with crumbs on the carpets and used toiletries left in the bathroom, and the room was not made up for us on our second day. This said, we would recommend it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back with a balcony

Secure parking although because of the one way systems it's a bit difficult to find. Close to shops and bars and all the town has to offer within easy walking distance. Breakfast had a very good choice and we had a one course dinner with a glass of wine for €12.00 each, which was very tasty.

Rooms clean and tidy, staff friendly and spoke very good English.

We arrived but couldn't locate the car park, Isabella on reception provided us with a map and easy directions. We were swiftly checked in to our lovely room.

We freshened up and went down for some drinks before dinner, again Isabella was very helpful in recommending a restaurant for dinner.

We had a lovely meal and a walk round Saragossa, it's a beautiful city. Certainly more than we were expecting and would recommend a visit.

Comfy bed and great nights sleep at the hotel and for 85 euros per room including parking a bargain!

The hotel felt slightly retro. We liked it. Good service and quality at Bar and breakfast. Very good garage facilities. On arrival the reception staff were excellent in sorting out access to garage which is at rear.
The room at front was a good size bed comfortable. The room carpet was tied. Mini Bar was fine.

TripAdvisor reviews influenced by booking here (and canceling at another hotel) - so glad we did not end up at the Palafox or Alfonso - both looked like good hotels, but due to new tram construction would have been noisy and awkward to maneuver to and from. The Zentro (and its next-door-neighbor, the Silken Reino de Aragon) are well situated on Calle del Coso to both the upper neighborhood and the cathedral/basilica/several museums, and the lower neighborhood, which has good shopping, lots of places to eat and lovely neighborhoods to explore. My childhood recollection of Zaragoza was that there was a church on almost every corner. Not far off, as there are 21 in the main "old city" area. Most are open to the public, at least during service hours if not during museum hours. The hotel provided a good, though not exciting breakfast buffet. The room was spacious, quiet, had free wifi, a really nice bathroom and toiletries and was a good buy when I rechecked my booking just before we left on our trip. Prices had dropped by one-third, so I rebooked our room - the Camina (upper floor, sitting area, good closet, good bed, soft sheets). The best thing about this hotel is its staff - cheerful, positive, lots of great suggestions, multilingual - the one morning it rained, they even loaned us an umbrella. Zaragoza is on the AVE line from Barcelona, making it a convenient stopover. We enjoyed Candolias for tapas nearby.

Room Tip: We liked the Camina and felt it was good value with breakfast included. We requested synthetic pillo...

We had two nights at this hotel and found it to be very clean and comfortable with good sized bedroom and excellent modern bathroom. The hotel is ideally located for all the major sightseeing spots and about ten minutes walk to the Basilica del pilar square. Good secure underground parking which is approached from the rear of the hotel. We experienced some difficulty getting to the hotel by car as the roundabout at plaza de Espana and part of Calle Cosa where the hotel is situated is closed to traffic due to installation of a tramway.

Good hotel and value for money. Has own parking but beware make sure that you have a small car and contact hotel to obtain details of where the car park is situated! Bed comfortable, room a little squeezy. Breakfast OK. Recommended as is in the centre of Zaragoza.
