“Aragonese Cuisine at it´s Best...!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

Absolutely outstanding restaurant! All you could possibly ask for and then a little more...El Fuelle has a very diverse menu for you to choose from and the food is truly delicious, the grilled meats, Chuleton, solomillo, etc. are like butter...tender and so tasty!
if you are visiting in a group, I recommend asking for the "Menu Degustación", El Fuelle offers you at least 4 of these menus, and all are great!
The atmosphere makes you feel comfortable, the service is good and staff are professional, El Fuelle is full of history, represented on it´s walls! even Prince Filipe of Spain has graced El Fuelle with his presence.
Just to top off...El Fuelle offers you Aragonese Cuisine at it´s Best!

Totally recommend El Fuelle!!!

“Typical decor and good food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

I recommend you visit this restaurant for two reasons: the typical farm related décor. And for the food: sausages (longaniza), bread crumbs (migas). A salad would be advisable, to compensate :)

“Not to be missed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

Great atmosphere. Very good quality of food at reasonable price. One or two minor hiccups.
On the table reserved you find already a bread roll per person for which you are charged .90 c of euro even if you don't eat it. They advertise 3 or 4 set menus with an inclusive price but when you try and order it turns into a hard job (only a language problem? ;-) ) because the waiter tells you that it can be done only for a minimum of two people. You then try to explain that we are four and quite happy to have two and two but for some unknown reasons even that is not possible.
In the end we chose from the a la carte which turned out to be even cheaper because we didn't want a three course meal. The service is the fastest we have ever experienced in our whole life travelling worldwide. A two course meal served in 45 minutes! We would have liked to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere a bit longer but we ended our evening in a cosy bar in the area.

“Hidden Treasure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

This is a restaurant we would not have found without a recommendation from our hotel. It is situated quite a long way up a side street and looks a little unprepossessing from the outside. However, for the tourist, it's quite a find, because inside it all looks so interesting and entertaining. Perhaps it doesn't have the best food in town, but we certainly enjoyed our meal and it was much better value than some places we've eaten. You certainly won't leave still feeling hungry!

There are various set menus and we tried Menu de Degustacion number 2. The starter consisted of bread, mixed salad, Manchego cheese, jamon serrano, longaniza sausage, migas with grapes and a slices of cinnamon flavoured black pudding. It was a meal in itself!

Then came the main course of two enormous pieces each of lamb shank with sliced red peppers and potatoes. Dessert was lemon sorbet or peach in red wine. Wine and water were included but coffee was extra. We will certainly eat there again next time we're in Zaragoza.

“A gem of a place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

Stayed in the Palafox Zaragosa 5* ??? And incredibly they werent able to recommend any local restaurants. Only after harassing the reception did one of them suggest this place. It is rustic and when viewed from the outside seriously underwhelming. The restaurant is L shaped and initially I thought it was really quiet, but once fully inside it was bustling. Lots of local people dining. Menu in several languages ( which sounds naff but does help) had the set menu ( roast lamb ) very very good - the bill for 4 people was €148 including a bottle of wine and six large beers. There is lots of food with several courses of tapas, so don't eat the bread or crisps beforehand. We were on a classic car tour of 80 + cars and all made separate dining arrangements, after comparing notes, most others found the level of restaurants in Zaragosa very average. I would go back here anytime. Lively atmosphere and friendly staff
