Description: Oriza has a superb location right in the heart of Seville, near to the Real Alcazar and in front of The Royal Tobacco Factory (18th Century). A stroll the Murillo gardens, a leisurely walk a long San Fernando Street, take you to this spacious and bright mansion housing that was built in 1926. At Oriza you can enjoy a delicious meal, in our oldgreenhouse restaurant, made with top quality products of the Mediterranean cuisine and our sommelier will advise you on the best wine to match from our large and diverse winery cellar. If you prefer, you can also have a few "tapas" and drinks in our traditional Bar Espana. We invite you to celebrate with us your special moments or business meetings in our private dining salons. "Meet and celebrate at Oriza, best quality and service is our priority"

“Great Room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

This is a lovely restaurant in a wonderful location. I found the service to be spotty and the food was good but not great. The room is beautiful and well renovated. After eating here, my advice would be to have a drink and tapas in the cafe next door and have dinner elsewhere.

“expensive, but so is Seville in general”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2012

we read great reviews of the tapas bar on some english newspaper, but we wanted to try the restaurant instead..
great food, good service..
the wine guy even printed out for us a webpage of the white wine he just suggested to us..
towards the end, when we were only few people left in the place, he also showed us some of the amazing different light settings they have in the the place, apparently about a million combinations...
what they should do is take guests in time slots, with taster menus, and change lights with every dish..
toilets are upstairs, but interesting to visit..

“Very good, maybe slightly overpriced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2012

Everything we ordered was very good, although considering the price, most of it did not exceed our expectations. One of the appetizers we ordered, the risotto with pate and truffles, was tremendous, however. The best risotto dish I've ever had. Our other appetizer and our two entrees were certainly good, but not overwhelmingly impressive. The service was good, most of the staff spoke English and were friendly enough. The sommelier was especially helpful, helping us pick out a fantastic wine and telling us quite a bit of interesting information about the wine we ultimately decided on. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and might consider going back again if we're in Seville again. If it was a little cheaper we would definitely come back.

“Food was pretty good, service a little frosty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2012 via mobile

Well, we thought the food was fairly good but it did cost us c 200 euro inc wine for two. For that sort of price I do expect not to have to sit on my coat for the entire meal, so the service wasn't great for that sort if cash but the food was fairly nice.

“Not worth it”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2012

Had dinner with my wife on the advice of relatives and good reviews from other sites. We were expecting a top notch place. It is not. The food is lacking and the service is awful. We will never return.
