“Good Hotel in Sevilla”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2011

While the location was not as close to shopping/dining areas it was still walkable. The hotel manager spoke good english and provided us with great service. He helped us book one of the best Flamenco shows in town. The rooms were quiet and comfortable with a spacious modern bathroom.

I recommend you stay at a hotel closer to the main attractions and in a better neighborhood....rather than staying here.

This hotel is NOT close to Santa Lucia station as they advertise. It's a 1 mile (20 min) walk and it's difficult to do with bags. We almost got robbed on our walk to the hotel as some guy snuck up behind us and tried to steal my bag pack...I yelled at him loudly and it scared him off and he ran away. The neighborhood this hotel is in looks run down and is very seedy. It's in a residential area very far from downtown Seville. It's a 25 min walk to the cathedral area thru narrow streets that are really seedy and scary. If you walk on the main road, it's a one hour walk. They do have a bus station 2 blocks from the hotel but the neighborhood is bad, so if you come back late at night, it's a scary walk from bus stop to hotel.

The rooms are small but clean. Bathroom is adequate and clean also. They claim to offer internet corner for 3 euros but it never worked. We asked them to fix it every day and they said they didn't know how to. Staff is nice but not too helpful.

There's no Metro in Seville, so you either have to take cabs or buses. Buses are plenty and easy to use once you familiarize yourself with the routes. Not as easy to figure out as Metros in the rest of the spain's cities.

Breakfast is expensive and not worth it.

Accommodations were clean, sizable, and very comfortable and staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Free buffet breakfast (since our stay was 2+ days) was a huge plus. Not only was it was an ample variety of extremely good food (fresh juice and coffee, fruit/cereal/yogurt/rolls/cookies/pastry, Spanish sausages/tortillas), it came in very handy since there weren't a lot of other options close to the hotel.

Unfortunately, the hotel is a 25-30 minute walk to most of old town Seville's sights and nightlife. While cabs in Seville are inexpensive and fairy easy to get in the evening, be prepared to do a fair to sizable amount of walking if you stay here.

This hotel was our place in Sevilla for 6 days. Good, quiet location, a bit far from the historical center (20 min. on foot) but easy to get from the circular road. Spacious room and bathroom, free, high speed WiFi, good breakfast for reasonable price. Own garage to be booked before (and extremely helpful, English spoken, reception staff excavating the cars from it). Nice, good managed and well kept hotel. Will come back!

I recommend it to anyone who likes an unpretentious atmosphere and is keen on sightseeing the city on foot. The hotel is located in barrio Macarena and it takes about 10 to 15 minutes walk to reach the historical center. The hotel is rather small, clean, the rooms are not spacious, rather typical for this class of hotels, but they are cozy and bright. The staff is very friendly and speaks English without a problem. I stayed there for 2 nights and could stay there again.

The hotel is located in the north part of town and difficult to find without GPS. Like other spanish cities it's hard to find a parking space, so we used the hotel garage but it is so small that if we could go back we would have used the city parking although it was a bit more expensive than the one in the hotel.
In the morning, we woke up with noises from the street even though we were in the 3rd floor.
