“Great innovative tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014 via mobile

We ate here last night and thoroughly enjoyed our tapas. Delicious blends of flavors and textures. The service was friendly and they managed to work with our very limited Spanish. We tried several of the specials of the day and the artichokes with ham from the standard menu. We can highly recommend this restaurant. We have been here two weeks now and these were some of the best tapas we have had.

“Atmospheric and authentic ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

We spent an evening propped at the bar indulging in excellent Rioja and very tasty tapas. A great little bar, friendly staff, great quality food and very reasonable prices.

“Great tapas value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

We ate at El Pasaje twice in late January/early February 2014. There actually are two rooms -- a modern, upscale restaurant space (not always open) and the more traditional, smaller bar. We ate once in each. The menu appeared to be the same. The food was excellent -- the best tapas we had in six days in Sevilla. Service was friendly. The prices were remarkably low for the quality. Highly recommended.

“Innovative Tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2014

One of our better meals in Seville. Tucked away in a side street just meters from our hotel was this lovely place. The staff were great, and the food was even better. Apparently they've won awards for the aubergine and it deserves it.

“Delicious, innovative tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

This is one of the few places we ate on our trip that we chose without consulting TA -- boy, were we lucky! The tapas are a mixture of standard and more creative fare and the 3-4 we had were uniformly delicious. (I actually thought the artichokes with ham, served room temp rather than hot as we'd had everywhere else, were the best we had on the trip. And we had a lot of them.) The place was always busy (was around the corner from our hotel) and was packed with locals. I was SO disappointed when they were not open for lunch the following day -- I dreamed about those artichokes all night!
