La Surena is a cerveceria owned by the 100 Montaditos chain, and retains some of the characteristics of the original 100 Montaditos eateries: the montaditos themselves, a huge range, keenly proced (between 1 and 3 Euros); the beer, also very good value; the order at the bar, followed by a call. In addition, La Surena offer bigger dishes, for examples tostadas, kind of square pizzas. My wife and I ate there a few times and we tried a combination of tostadas (mediterranea, with tomato, quesos, with four cheeses) and the usual montaditos. Everything very good, cooked and served fast. Only minor point - we couldn't have a coffee. No big deal, since the kiosk Los Leones is very close, in the middle of the Alameda. All in all, very good experience, and very good value for money.
