“Perfect for Exploring Seville”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2012

A charming hotel with good sized rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location 10 minutes from the cathedral (once you've worked out the quickest route down narrow, winding streets) and a couple of minutes (turn right out of the hotel) from a plethora of bars, cafes and restaurants. Very near the amazing Casa de Pilatos - a ducal palace with a Moorish ground floor and gardens and a 'country house' first floor with fantastic art. 15 minute walk to the station for trips to Cordoba etc...

My room was of a good size, quiet and hot water on tap. My friends' room proved a little noisy - both external and internal nosie but apart from that difficult to fault. Breakfast was fine and the free tea/ coffee/ biscuits throughout the day was appreciated.

i'd certainly stay here again and the buzz of Seville and its many charms will no doubt bring me back.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days.
The room we got (the blue room) was very small and with no air condition. The bed was hard and uncomfortable.
The patio was ok - a nice place to sit and relax.
There was free coffee/tea/soup available which was a (minor)plus.
The breakfast ok but way to expensive for what you got.
You will get a better breakfast if you venture outside.
I will not recommend this hotel for a stay more then one night. There are better hotels available in Seville for a better price and with a better location.

Room Tip: Ask for a bright room.

This hotel was so quaint and exactly what we were looking for. I loved the inner patio and the room to have an afternoon coffee or tea. The breakfast included was a bonus. The beds were very comfy and the room seemed really big due to the high ceilings . The location was convenient and that staff were nice too. The only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. I would have no qualms about staying here again.

Room Tip: See if you can get a rate with breakfast. Its worth it.

If you like staying at Hiltons and Sheratons, don't come here. If like me you are looking for an excellent value, friendly, personal, clean and central hotel with lots of character and charm, then this is the one for you! Just spent 3 nights, and this was a real gem. Easy walking distance of the cathedral and Alcazar, 15 mins walk from the station so easy to get to Cordoba/ Granada etc. Based on an old house with central courtyard with overlooking balconies. Rooms clean and comfortable, and in a quiet location, and lots of bars, restaurants less than 5 mins walk away. Just be careful stepping outside the front door as the pavement is about 1foot wide! Highly recommended, would definitely stay there again.

Great open-air lobby. Bought a few bottles of their homemade wine which is a tasty treat. Breakfast was a nice bonus. Rooms are very "Seville". We got lost like 50 times walking around looking for the hotel but that's all part of the charm. Also, the hotel front doors open up to a somewhat busy alley which we affectionately called "death street" with a 1 foot curb but honestly, it really wasn't dangerous. Tip: pretty close to the hotel there is a large plaza that has a bar that has an incredible happy hour(s). 1 Euro beers and sangria which fills up the plaza and the people-watching is unreal.
