“Memorable Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

Stayed at Don Paco located in Seville old town as part of my trip to Spain in Jan. 2013. Stayed on 17 and 18 of January 2013. Boarded the high speed AVE from Madrid to Seville. Reached Seville at 11:00 am. I had planned the modes of transport well in advance. The help desk at the train station in Seville was a big help. They provided details on the bus route and pinpointed the exact location of the hotel and the route to be taken from the bus stop.

Nevertheless, Check-In was smooth. provided the passport and the booking confirmation receipt. The desk manager arranged our lugagge to be carried to the room. The room allocated was Room 521 (Not 100% of the room number) but the room on the extreme left corner once out of the lift. I had requested for a room with the balcony and was allocated a room with a huge sun deck that had perfect views of the old town and the Seville cathredal.

Room was good enough and not cramped. Very clean toilets. Room service was good. The air conditioning at the hotel is effective and within minutes the room was cold. Didn't need much as it was winter. Hotel is located at a good location to explore the town. Be prepared for a bit of walking as the City Sight seeing and Seville bus touristique are a good 2.5 kms kms away from the hotel close to El Corte Ingles. But the walk is pleasant with old buildings, churches and monuments along the way. Seville has a different charm to it during the night unlike no other city in Spain. It has a very old world charm to it.

Hotel offers city tour bus passes at additional cost. My advise would be chack out the offers at the junction close to El Corte Ingles. Overall a very good place to stay and explore Seville. Highlights were the quality of fabric in the room, big clean toilets, nice views and the old worls charm.

I had to take the early morning bus to Granada from Seville. It was a bit difficult to find a cab at 05:00 am as I had not requested the hotel trave desk. Next time I will be taking their help. Seville is a town with many hotels and other options to stay, but Don Paco made my trip special.

Breakfast served is continental and was quite filling. My wife unfortunately could only enjoy the scrambled eggs and bread along with butter and jam.

Completely utilised the Bus Turistic Service for 02 days.

Room Tip: Choose the Rooms with Balcony. Balconies are walk in. Requst the 5th floor room with a huge sun deck...

This hotel is in a perfect location for seeing the historic section of Sevilla and the grand boulevards with its stately buildings near the river. The staff is efficient and helpful and the rooms, though a bit small, are clean and comfortable. It has parking under the hotel which was very convenient and because we were there off-season it was not difficult to get a place. The only problem we had was finding the hotel because of the one-way streets in the labyrinth of the old town which our GPS did not register. Perhaps some clear detailed directions to the hotel could be provided with bookings.

Room Tip: This hotel is situated in a busy part of the old town. Noise from the outside is unavoidable on both...

A nice hotel with good facilities, good central location within easy walking of the old town. We had a room overlooking the back and was lovely and quiet. Great breakfasts with a super choice. Best of all is the tapas bar over the road - Catalina - what a find, traditional tapas served in a modern way - definitely worth a visit.

nice location in central seville and close to attractions, was a nice hotel, the staff were very good, the rooms although not big were adequate and the facilities good, the rooms were clean and nice. the breakfast was very good and no complaints and spent a couple of nights in the bar and it was reasonably priced for a hotel. had no reason to complain about anything and would stay there again when in seville

We stayed here for one night as a stopover between Malaga and Cadiz. It is clean and comfortable, and about 10 minutes walk from the main sights. There is a pool with a bar- it didn't
seem to open till 5.30 so it got quite busy as there were several coach parties staying there. It has a lovely view over the rooftops of Seville. There is a typical flamenco bar right next door (Quitapenas) if you are looking for something more authentic than the tourist shows. Also La Carboneria is worth going to if you don't want to spend a fortune seeing flamenco.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

A vast improvement on the previous time I'd stayed here on a Riviera trip. Then, I was a single traveller and got put (initially as I complained and was moved) in a room the size of a cupboard. The room we were in this time was more roomy and spotless. Service was good and the breakfast adequate without being exciting. Because there were several tours staying there breakfast was a bit hectic and the coffee machines were too slow to cope. However, it's centrally located and perfectly adequate for a tour. A pity they didn't upgrade the soundproofing with the rest of the refurbishment though!

3 nights here as part of tour of classic Spain. Extremely well situated within easy walking distance of cathedral, Alcazar "Parasol" & both shopping & eating venues. Room (at end of corridor) was quiet apart from slight drone of either pool pump or air con unit & was adequate for purpose although small-ish with no view (not that this was important as there was a superb all-round view from the roof-top pool.
Not able to give rating of dining as we ate out apart from breakfast which was ok (just) & a bar lunch which was about perfect.
