I had booked for Saturday 29.09.12 the family room for my niece and myself. We got No. 205 on 1st floor, with one small bedroom (2 single beds), one big bedroom (twin beds) with a tiny balcony and a huge bathroom with bath and beautiful tiling and it was perfect: being located in an old XVIIIe mansion it has a lot of charm and atmosphere, with ancient Spanish tiling and furniture, our room was perfectly clean, welcome was smiling, check in and out efficient and quick, service very helpful with suitcases. There is a very relaxing and green patio where one can relax after the bustles of the Sevilla streets and enjoy Wifi connexion. Having a severe mobility problem I appreciated both the lift and being not even 50 m away from the Giralda Cathedral, as well as from the Horno de San Buenventura where you can have excellent breakfast and cakes (though not cheap) and 2 excellent tapas bars, Hijos de Morales & Taberna Coloniales. Very good value too - we paid EUR 110 Euros. No TV but we didn’t need any. True, a room overlooking the Garcia de Viniesa street is bound to be noisy until small hours in the morning than one overlooking the patio but it's also part of the Sevilla atmosphere. If we come back to Sevilla we’ll definitely stay at the Simon Hotel again.
