“Great Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2014

The hotel is not luxurious but it has a great location, near the Puerta de Aragon and a 15 minute walk to the town center, Torre de Belem and the prinicpal church where commerce and has great resutaurantes and bars can indulge in fine dining and delicious tapas
The bedroom and bathroom are clean
and has pampering shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer, breakfast is reasonable, does not have much variety.
the train station you can reach the hotel by bus, have free internet and wifi, attendants are super nice and gentle. I stayed on the first floor, quiet and has a beautiful landscape to general headquarters building

I chose this hotel because it was close to the center and the prices were quite good.

Granted the decor is a bit dated and it feels like you're stepping into the late 70s, but it's impeccably clean and well maintained.

Room was spacious enough with a large desk, fridge, a table, TV and bedside tables.

Breakfast was varied and good with extended hours until 11AM.

Located across the road from Plaza de Espana and Parque de Maria Luisa it's perfect for visiting the city. The cathedral is probably 15 to 20 minutes away walking leisurely. Alternatively you can walk 5 minutes to the tram terminal and get to the historic center in style.

Staff was amazing, always ready to help and when they say they'll look at a request, they do so quickly and with results.

They have parking available either at the hotel or in a private underground parking nearby.

I spent 1 night with my family and other 2 families with kids.
The hotel is located in a very convenient position, close to Spain Square.
Clean and neat, but the hotel is like the time were stopped at the 60s/70s.
Don't expect anything fancy of cool, but for the price is ok.

Stayed here for two nights and can say that the 4 star rating is not merited. The location is fine as other reviewers have stated but the hotel is very outdated and in desperate need of refurbishment.
Our room was dingy, the bathroom sparse, the bath towels very thin, not much space to put anything in, no bed side cabinets, so the list goes on....
Breakfast was OK, you give your room number then tell the guy what you've had after you've finished so if like us you opt for just coffee and toast you can have as much of it as you can eat as it is all self service and it is only 2.5 euro per person but apart from that the place is quite soulless and a bit depressing.

We stayed at this hotel for a night on our way to somewhere else and found it ideal. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It is situated very close to the Plaza de Espana and from there we took a short walk down to the river. The breakfast was good and our bus was able to park outside for picking up and dropping off. The staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble to them. They also spoke in English which was a bonus as many of our group didn't speak Spanish, We were not disturbed during the night with any outside noise.

Great hotel, fast lifts, good clean rooms, friendly staff. No dinner but wonderful breakfast. Close to Plaza Espana which has been modernised. Not too far from the tram line which takes you round to the cathedral, shops and tapas bars.

The staff at Pasarela is very nice and caring, but 4 stars is an exaggeration. The location really helps, just by Plaza de España with metro, Tranvia and the bus station nearby. The interior of the hotel and accomodations, however, is much older than they should be. Wi-fi is also not that reliable.
