“Charming Hotel in Sunny Saville”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

We just didn't expect Seville to be so interesting and lovely and this Hotel, although out of the centre was perfect. It was old with charismatic atriums and balcony's but modern plumbing. The staff were friendly and helpful, parking on site and good breakfast. Ten minutes walk we were in the large Hercules Square, packed with restaurants and interesting people to watch! It was about 20 minutes walk to the centre and we recommend the horse and carriage ride at 45 euros to view the magnificent buildings in style and decide where to go next. Walking along the river promenade or taking a boat ride also good. So much to see we will go back.

Room Tip: Try not to be near the lifts!

Great small Hotel. Nothing fancy, but clean and good priced.
Since it's slightly outside the center (but still within walking distance of 15 min. of the center), you can find some great local tapas bars around the hotel.
I like it in particular because I visit by car and it's easy to get to without having to go thru major traffic . However the underground parking is tight.

On our journey through Andalusia after Cordoba we arrived in Seville. Tour guide told us that the hotel is not in the center of the city and we have to use public transport to the Golden tower and the city center. It is true that the hotel is not in the center but it has a beautiful place along the promenade by the river Guadalquivir. It takes about 15-20 minutes walk to reach the city center at the same time go all the promenade along the river and enjoy themselves. Also bullfight is very close to the hotel, as well as the port where the cruise ships moving river. We found some side streets that are full of local people and local cafes where you can more quickly get to the center. In addition to the hotel is a bus station from which proceeds a city bus and if you find difficult to walk, and it can be translated. This hotel, like most hotels in this part of the city,is located in the back streets parallel to the main street, which are very narrow,so that the buses can not get near to the hotel, so you have to drag your bags around 100-200 m from the main street to the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, neat. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Breakfast is excellent. In any case, we were two nights in this hotel and recommend it to all who come to visit Seville. During our stay in Seville was 37 degrees and it was a hell of heat and Sevilla is a large and noisy city so it may well turn out that we were at a little outside the city center in a quiet part of the city. We really enjoyed this hotel.

First of all it was really difficult to find the Hotel even with GPS. You better set it to Calle Guadalete
instead of Calle San Vicente and you will arrive to the Hotel closed parking.
The reception staff was very helpful and friendly. the hotel itself deserves 4 stars instead of 3.
We got a quiet room facing courtyard with bath and bidet. Very clean and confortable.
You better park your car in hotel parking (15 euros per day) and use publik transport to city center. Bus stop of bus C4 is 100m from the hotel and after 15-20minutes you find yourself near Seville Cathedral. Don't miss Plaza Espana and beautiful Maria Luisa park.
You can choose continental breakfast (5 euros) or buffet one (9 euros and highly reccommended).
All in all very good choice for Seville and we will be happy to stay again

Room Tip: choose quiet room on high floor facing courtyard

We were booked into this hotel by another hotel receptionist as we had made a mistake with our original booking so,had no time to check any reviews prior to our booking.
The hotel is within walking distance to bars restaurants etc but,a little further away from, attractions, shopping etc.
Our room was very comfortable and, clean but, then, breakfast OMG'... Given a choice of continental or,buffet for differing prices by the guy who was also trying to clear and,re lay tables. The poor guy also had to note down guests room numbers.
The breakfast room looked like a bomb had hit it'. Not,one clean table, not,an exageration. Not one clean table. Cups for hot drinks were not next to buffet so,you had to find one amongst the debris and, push used utensils etc to one side.
We opted for the continental breakfast but,as we got there the lady removed most of the food, only to replace it some 20 minutes later?..
There was only one hot water outlet on a machine for tea etc so,you can imagine the wait..I also had to reach under the counter to the only pile of clean plates to be found.Only to find that they were all soaking wet with water and,the first one gad a nice black hair on it'. I gave it to the waiter who happened to be next to me,he apologised but,in fairness he was alone to clear all of the tables, take notes of room numbers and,lay tables.
I did leave a note of complaint, clearly understaffed in the breakfast room. I wish I'd taken a photo of it..

This hotel is 20 mins walk max from the centre and the better for it. Just a few minutes from the Guadalquivir and river walks and 5 minutes from a choice of tapas restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient and wifi was free and it worked all the time we stayed. Breakfast was included in our room rate. Plenty of choice: juice, fresh fruit and hot dishes as well as the usual bread and pastries. The price deal was excellent in December. We requested a quiet room and were not disturbed.

The hotel is in the Center of the City, but a little far from the turistic area (cathedral): about 20-25 minutes walk. Only one restaurant really in the nearby (less than 5 min. walk), and closed on Monday. Rooms are nice but the hotel needs better maintenance (at the arrival I had to change my room for several and different poblems), Rooms are nice, but they can be noisy before 23.00, because some of them is very close to reception and main hall. If you go there for business it can be a problem, Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
