First of all the hotel is very nice and the staff are quite pleasant. We booked for the Red level service, but several of the red level advantages were missing. Firstly, we never received the welcome/check in drink, but the personal checkin and the Red level staff made up for it. We got a room upgrade that was great. I had feared that the size of the room we had originally booked was a tad small. Our room was well furnished and had a lovely king size bed. The barthroom was very nice, though a bit sparse on the Clarins amenities. The wifi signal was quite weak and there was only one part of the room were one could receive a good'ish signal. Turndown service is something I quite like, but here it was bit of a let down. The only thing we noticed was two chocolates and a towel on the floor each side of the bed. On our second day/night stay the room was made up quite late (around 16:30 - we left the room around 11:15) and I was disappointed to discover that the Clarins amenities were not replaced or the nespresso coffe capsules of complimentary water :-(
We also never received daily newspapers to our room or the aroma that we ordered. The Red level dining area was pleasant, with complimentary drinks and snacks, but there was no wine or beer.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay - the hotel is good, but for the price and the Red level service, there is room for improvement.
