“Wonderful Fish!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

The restaurant had a beautiful view right across from the Alhambra. Outdoor seating was on a wonderful terrace with a beautiful lattice awning. The fish was superb and the wait staff was very nice.

“As pants the heart...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Location, location, location say the property bores. Jardines Alberto makes a perfect example. One comes out from the Alhambra in dire need of refreshment - and there it is on the opposite side of the road. In the UK, the nearest restaurant to a major site is usually a deathly tourist trap, from which one emerges purged by pity and terror (or the curry); rightly shunned by the locals, who wear garlic as they pass.

It takes the unreconstructed years to realise that they order these things better in Spain, as a rule. A restaurant can be tourist orientated and yet pleasant: thus the Jardines Alberto. It looks posher than it is, with an entrance up the steps from the road. You can eat in the restaurant or outside on the pleasant terrace. They offer much, but we were looking for light, touristy snacks rather than a full meal and that is what the cheerful waiter supplied. Other reviews have commented on full meals. I would give testimony only to the right food in the right place at the right time.

“Relaxed atmosphere on the terrace”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

Great place for breakfast or lunch before visiting Alhambra. It's located on 2nd floor so one can enjoy a great view of Alhambra. They offer solid breakfast and lunch menu (I had an omelet and it was fine). The terrace has both, sunny and shady seating, the service is attentive and friendly. When you go to Alhambra, make it part of your visit!

“Quaint little place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

This was a quaint little place across the street from the entrance to the Alhambra. It was perfect to grab a quick breakfast before going on our visit to the Alhambra.

We knew that we had to be punctual for our entrance into the church so we gave ourselves plenty of time to get to the Alhambra. We had not eaten breakfast, so we were delighted to find this place tucked in on top of a small store across the street!
