“very bad experience with jardines alberto granada”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2012 via mobile

i cannot recommend this place at all. this is a typical example of a restaurant near a famous place (alhambra) with limited competition. no need for any proper service because tourists will come anyway. the atmosphere is sub-standard as is the food. the restaurant could do with a full makeover. value for money is definitely not given. but the worst was the service, waiters were very unfriendly, unattentive, inconsiderate. a real pity as granada is otherwise a great destination.

“Nice place to have lunch while waiting to get into the Alhambra.”

Nice and convenient place right next to the Alhambra. Food was plentiful, service was adequate, but not overly attentive.

“Delightful, next to Alhambra entrance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2011

Any restaurant that has a 3 flight walk up has to be good or it would be out of business fast. Family are decendents of famous local artist who lived there 3 generations ago. Great food and house wines. Beautiful large outdoor terrace, no cars.

“Great value and best views ever!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2010

We did not expect this restaurant to turn out as well as it did as it is just next to the Alhambra, a busy tourist attraction. But we were pleasantly surprised, the staff were very friendly and the Menu del Dia at €17 each was great value. We had a lovely, tasty 3 course meal including a drink each. Food was fresh, tasty and plentyful. Great ambience, straight from a movie and lovely setting with views of Alhambra. We would go back tomorrow!

“Don't let your wife get taken by the ambiance”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2010

Like I did! This is a God-Awfull place! I have just left this place 30 minutes ago and I cannot weait to say how awful it is!
The tomato starter isd a 14" plate of tomato and onion that would be more than enough for four! I ordered roast pork that was three small pieces of FAT!
Fifty Euros later we left. I still haven't recovered.
Don't even take the first step up to the lovely looking terrace!
